This Program provides the knowledge and understanding required for rewarding and successful careers in journalism, media and writing, including TV, radio, print and digital media. It teaches the skills and professional abilities needed to create and produce interesting and engaging pieces of journalistic, media and professional writing and communication. It covers ethics, reporting, choosing and satisfying the target audience.

This new Program is being offered with a 20% reduction from normal the Fee up until 31st March 2025. The reduced fee is shown opposite, for example a single payment of £160 or US$320 or Euro 240 instead of the normal Diploma Fee of £200 or US$400 or Euro 300.

Module 12 - Writing for Broadcast Media

  • Online, digital, social, podcast and multimedia journalism, using video, audio, images, graphics
  • Broadcast journalism, jobs, anchors, presenters, researchers, production team, sound, props
  • Radio, television and internet broadcast journalism, screenwriters and scriptwriters, story structure
  • Screenplays and scripts, video/audio elements, audio and technical codes, editing, 9 C’s in broadcast writing

To gain your Diploma you need to sit and pass an Examination** (based entirely upon the contents of the Study Materials provided to you in your Program Fee). Full and clear details about preparing for and sitting the Exam are provided to you, including in your Study & Training Guide, when you enrol. The clear information explains when, where and how your Examination will be arranged - it is a simple and straightforward process, which hundreds of thousands of other Members have successfully gone through. If you study well and follow the advice in the CIC Study & Training Guide you should be able to achieve high marks and good grades - and obtain your prestigious International Diploma!

**An Assignment Option is available instead of an Exam if it is not possible to sit an Exam for reasons such as ‘Covid-19’ (Corona virus) outbreaks, war/armed conflict or severe travel restrictions.
