Examination Re-sits

EXAMINATION RE-SITS

Not all of CIC’s Members, for one reason or another, are always successful when first attempting a CIC Examination - all though the great majority are! However, if a Member is unsuccessful, then a new and different Examination can be arranged and undertaken.

Support and advice is always available from the College’s assessors, staff, advisors and the Principal and Vice Principal.

Experience shows that if Members have not passed an Exam it is generally for one of these two reasons - both of which are simple to overcome:

* Insufficient Study
It is important that you study the Study Materials supplied by the College, in accordance with CIC’s detailed ‘Study & Training Guide’ instructions, before you attempt an Examination.

* The Examination has been attempted too early
You should spend sufficient time on studying the Study Materials - including the Recommended Answers/Solutions to any Self-Assessment Tests set, step by step, as explained in CIC’s ‘Study & Training Guide’

By following the excellent, professional step-by-step guidance on how to prepare for Examinations and achieve good results in the CIC Study & Training Guide - one is provided to each Member on enrolment with the College - Members have the real opportunity to excel in their Study & Training.
