If a CIC Diploma holder wishes to have a Cambridge International College Diploma or other CIC award attested, then CIC can arrange to do that for the CIC Member/Diplomate/Graduate.
What is the “Attestation” procedure?
i) On receipt of the Attestation Fee of £100 or US$200** at the College in Jersey, Britain, the College will prepare a new (duplicate) CIC Diploma with an additional statement confirming the award; ii) A Notary Public (an official legal authority) will ‘notarise’ the CIC documentation by adding the Notary Public signature and official stamp, thereby confirming it is an official document genuinely bearing the actual signatures of the Principal and the Vice Principal of the College, and the official seal of the College; iii) The CIC documentation then has an Apostille added, which is the signature, stamp and seal of Her Britannic Majesty’s Lieutenant Governor, confirming and attesting the authenticity of the documentation. iv) CIC despatches the Attested/Notarised document by registered airmail post to the CIC Member/Diplomate/Graduate.
What is the purpose of Attestation?
Attestation is entirely optional, and only a small number of CIC Members, Diplomate or Graduates ask for this service. CIC Members sometimes ask for Attestation of their CIC Diplomas for legal reasons, for immigration reasons, at the request of their employer, for further educational purposes, or simply because they like the additional stamps and seals.
